What BorderRunner does, and what it can't promise.

BorderRunner is operated by DROPPIN, LLC. You can reach us at support@borderrunnerapp.com. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app itself. Where the two differ, these terms cover the service and Apple's cover the license.

BorderRunner counts days from the crossings you log and compares them with the rules it knows. It is a planning tool. It is not legal, immigration, customs, or tax advice, and it doesn't replace the official sources it links to.

• Rules change, and a border officer can set a different limit than the one we show. What the officer grants wins.
• The count is only as good as the crossings in it. A missing or wrong date gives a wrong answer.
• You are responsible for complying with the entry, customs, and tax rules that apply to you and your vehicles.

When a decision matters, check it with the authority or a qualified professional before you act on it.

You need an account to use BorderRunner. Keep access to your email secure, since sign-in codes are sent there, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

If you add other people to your household, make sure they are fine with you keeping their travel record. Anyone who joins your household sees its travelers, vehicles, and crossings.

Free keeps your own clock for the rules your passport falls under, logging and editing crossings by hand, and the rulebook. Pro adds vehicle clocks and paperwork, automatic logging, importing past trips, a household of travelers and vehicles, the border card and its PDF, reminders, calendar dates, widgets, and more than one clock.

• Yearly. A subscription that renews each year. The first week can be free: cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
• Founder. One payment for Pro with no renewal, for as long as we run BorderRunner.

If Pro ends, nothing you saved is deleted. Pro features pause, and they pick up again when Pro is back. Prices are shown before you pay and can change for new purchases.

Purchases in the app go through your Apple ID. A yearly subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings, or from Manage billing on the You screen. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Deleting your BorderRunner account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription.

Purchases on our website are processed by Polar, which bills your card and sends your receipt. A yearly plan renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do from Manage billing at any time before the renewal date. If something went wrong with a charge, write to support@borderrunnerapp.com and we will sort it out.

Don't use BorderRunner to break the law, to access other people's accounts or data, or to disrupt the service. Don't copy, scrape, or reverse engineer it, beyond what the law allows. If you share a border card's scan code or a calendar link, you are choosing to show that record to whoever has it.

The travel record you build is yours. You let us store and process it only to run BorderRunner for you, as the Privacy page describes. You can download it or delete it from the You screen at any time.

We keep improving BorderRunner, so features and rules will change. We try to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.

BorderRunner is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for overstays, fines, refused entry, seized vehicles, or tax consequences that follow from relying on the app, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

You can stop using BorderRunner and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law says we can't.
